Haggart Creek is a small creek located in Ontario, Canada. It flows through the areas of Georgian Bay and Muskoka Lakes. This creek is part of the larger Great Lakes Basin, which is a huge system of lakes and rivers. Haggart Creek is a "tributary" of the Moon River. This means it's a smaller stream that flows into the Moon River.
The Creek's Journey
Haggart Creek starts its journey at the eastern end of Haggart Lake. This lake is in the area called Muskoka Lakes. From there, the creek flows east.
Path to the Moon River
As it flows, Haggart Creek goes under the Canadian Pacific Railway main train line. It then reaches Cassidy Lake. After leaving Cassidy Lake, it heads south and goes under the same railway line again. The creek continues until it reaches the eastern part of Roderick Lake.
The creek leaves Roderick Lake from its southeast side, near a railway spot called Duffy. It then flows southeast towards the Duffy Lakes. After this, it turns southwest and enters the Georgian Bay area. Finally, Haggart Creek reaches its end, flowing into the Moon River. The Moon River then flows into Georgian Bay, which is part of Lake Huron.
