Heather Grace Angel (born February 9, 1909 – died December 13, 1986) was a talented British actress. She is best known for her voice work in classic animated films. She was the voice of Mrs. Darling, Wendy's mother, in Peter Pan (1953). She also voiced Alice's sister in Alice in Wonderland (1951).

Early Life of Heather Angel
Heather Angel was born on February 9, 1909, in Headington, Oxford, England. Her father, Andrea Angel, was a chemistry teacher at Oxford University. Her mother was Mary Letitia Stock. Heather had an older sister.
When Heather was seven years old, her father sadly passed away in an accident in 1917. After this, her mother moved with the two girls to London. By the time Heather was 19, she was already acting. She joined a touring theater group that traveled to different places.

Heather Angel had a long and successful career in both theater and movies.
Stage Performances
Heather began her acting journey on stage. In 1926, she started performing at the Old Vic theater. Later, she joined groups that toured around, performing plays in different cities. Her first time acting on Broadway in New York City was in December 1937. She appeared in a play called Love of Women. She also acted in another play called The Wookey from 1941 to 1942.
Film Roles and Voice Acting

Heather Angel appeared in many British films early in her career. Her first movie was City of Song. She then played a main role in Night in Montmartre (1931). She also starred in The Hound of the Baskervilles (1932).
After these successes, Heather decided to move to Hollywood in the United States. She sailed there with her mother in late 1932. In Hollywood, she took on important roles in movies like The Mystery of Edwin Drood (1935) and The Three Musketeers (1935). She also appeared in The Informer (1935) and The Last of the Mohicans (1936).
From 1937, she played the character Phyllis Clavering in five popular Bulldog Drummond movies. She was also Kitty Bennet in Pride and Prejudice (1940). In 1941, she played a maid named Ethel in the film Suspicion. Heather was also one of the passengers in Alfred Hitchcock's movie Lifeboat (1944).
Later in her career, Heather Angel became known for her voice acting. She provided voices for two famous Walt Disney animated films. She was Ada in Alice in Wonderland (1951). She also voiced Mrs. Darling in Peter Pan (1953).
Heather also acted on television. From 1964 to 1965, she had a role in the TV show Peyton Place. After that, she played Miss Faversham, a nanny, in the comedy show Family Affair.
Heather Angel's Personal Life
Heather Angel married actor Ralph Forbes in 1934. Their marriage lasted for less than ten years. She later married Robert B. Sinclair in 1944. He was a director for films and television. Heather and Robert had one son in 1947. Robert Sinclair passed away in 1970.
Later Years and Recognition
Heather Angel passed away in Los Angeles in 1986 due to cancer. She was 77 years old.
