Henniker CDP is located right in the middle of the town of Henniker. Most of it is on the north side of the Contoocook River. A smaller part, where New England College is, sits on the south side.
Borders and Natural Features
To the north, Henniker CDP is bordered by two main roads: U.S. Route 202 and New Hampshire Route 9. It's also bordered by a small stream called Amey Brook. To the south, you'll find the Contoocook River and an old railroad path. The CDP stretches west past a road called The Oaks.
Roads and Travel Connections
New Hampshire Route 114 goes right through the center of Henniker village. If you head northwest on this road, you'll reach Bradford in about 9 miles. Going southeast for about 18 miles will take you to Goffstown. Routes 202 and 9 lead east for about 16 miles to Concord, which is the state capital. If you go southwest on these routes for about 6 miles, you'll arrive in Hillsborough.
