In the same year, a man named Anson Call built a sawmill in Honeyville. A sawmill is a place that cuts logs into lumber. Later, Abraham Hunsaker bought the mill from Anson Call.

The area was known as Hunsaker's Mill for a while. In 1877, it became an LDS ward (a local church area) and was named Honeyville. Abraham Hunsaker was an important leader in the community during this time.
