Hopewell is a small town, also called a borough, located in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. In 2020, about 189 people lived there. The town was settled in 1855 and officially became a borough in 1895.

Hopewell's Location and Surroundings
Hopewell is found in the northeastern part of Bedford County. It sits in a narrow valley next to the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. To the east of Hopewell, you can see Riddlesburg Mountain.
The borough is surrounded by other areas. On its eastern side, it shares a border with Broad Top Township. To the west, it is next to Hopewell Township.
Roads and Travel
Pennsylvania Route 915 goes right through Hopewell. It is known as Water Street and Front Street in town. This route can take you about 7 miles (11 km) southeast to Wells Tannery. It continues about 14 miles (23 km) to U.S. Route 30 on top of Sideling Hill.
If you go north on Route 915, it ends just outside Hopewell at Pennsylvania Route 26. From there, you can travel southwest about 14 miles (23 km) to Everett. Or, you can go northeast about 32 miles (51 km) to Huntingdon.
