House is a popular American medical TV show. It's a drama series that was created by David Shore. The show first aired in 2004 on the FOX network and ran until 2012. Many fans around the world enjoyed watching House, M.D.

The story takes place at a made-up hospital called Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey. The main character is Doctor Gregory House. He's a very smart doctor, but he can be grumpy and sarcastic. He often teases his patients and co-workers. Even though he has a unique way of doing things, Dr. House almost always figures out how to cure his patients because he's so good at solving medical mysteries.

How the Show Works

Nearly every episode of House follows a similar pattern. First, you see what happens right before a patient gets sick and is taken to the hospital. Then, Dr. House and his team of colleagues spend a lot of time doing tests. They come up with many different ideas about what might be wrong with the patient.

At the very end of the episode, Dr. House usually has a sudden idea or "aha!" moment. This helps him find the answer to the medical puzzle. Most of the time, the patient gets better after Dr. House finds the correct diagnosis and treatment.
