Huila is a special area in Colombia, called a department. Think of it like a state or province in other countries. Its main city, or capital, is Neiva.
Huila is found in the southwest part of Colombia. It's a place with amazing nature. One of its most famous features is the Nevado del Huila volcano. This volcano is the third highest peak in all of Colombia! Also, the mighty Magdalena River, which is a very important river in Colombia, actually starts right here in Huila.
