Huntington is a city located in Angelina County, Texas, in the United States. In 2020, about 2,025 people lived there. The city was named after Collis Potter Huntington. He was the chairman of the board for the Southern Pacific Railroad when the town was created. Huntington is also known as the "Gateway to Lake Sam Rayburn." This means it's a main entry point to the popular Lake Sam Rayburn.

Huntington is in the eastern part of Angelina County. A major road, U.S. Route 69, goes through the city. This road leads northwest about 10 miles (16 km) to Lufkin, which is the county seat. It also goes south about 40 miles (64 km) to Woodville and 96 miles (154 km) to Beaumont.
The city covers a total area of about 2.75 square miles (7.1 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a very small part being water.
