Inzing is a small town located in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It's a charming place known for its beautiful natural surroundings.
Geography
Location
Inzing is found in the Inntal, which is a valley along the Inn River. It's situated between two larger towns: Innsbruck to the east and Telfs to the west. The town itself lies on the southern side of the Inn River. If you look south from Inzing, you'll see the Rangger Köpfl mountain. To the north, you can spot the Zirler Berg mountain.
Neighbouring Municipalities
Inzing shares its borders with several other communities. These include Flaurling, Gries im Sellrain, Hatting, Oberperfuss, Pettnau, Ranggen, Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain, Sellrain, and Zirl.
History
Inzing has a long history. It was first written about in official documents way back in the year 1034. This means the town has been around for nearly a thousand years!
For a short time, a nearby area called Hatting was part of Inzing. This happened in 1974. However, in 1993, Hatting became its own separate community again.

Economy
Inzing has a special area set aside for businesses and factories. This industrial district is located on the eastern side of the town. One of the main activities there is processing timber, which means working with wood.
