Important Matches
On May 4, 2013, J'Leon Love had a significant fight against Gabriel Rosado. This match was part of a bigger boxing event. The fight was very close, and Love was first announced as the winner by a split decision. However, after the fight, it was found that Love had a substance in his system that helps athletes lose weight quickly. This substance is not allowed in sports. Because of this, the fight result was changed from a win for Love to a "no contest," meaning it was as if the fight never happened.
In 2018, Love faced Peter Quillin, who was a former champion. Love mostly played defense in this fight, while Quillin was more aggressive. The judges decided that Quillin won the fight by a unanimous decision.
In his next fight, Love went up against another former champion, David Benavidez. Both boxers started strong. In the second round, Benavidez landed a powerful punch and followed up with many more. This made the referee stop the fight, giving Benavidez the win.

J'Leon Love is a Muslim. He also follows a vegan diet, which means he does not eat any animal products.
