Janeshia Adams-Ginyard (born February 14, 1984) is an American actress, stunt performer, and professional wrestler. She is well-known for playing Nomble, one of the Dora Milaje, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Black Panther. She also appeared in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Janeshia is also famous for her stunt work in movies like Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War.

Early Life and Education

Janeshia Adams-Ginyard was born in Los Angeles, California. She has a brother and a twin sister. Her family comes from Jamaica.

High School Achievements

Janeshia went to Gahr High School in Cerritos, California. She was an amazing athlete there. She still holds many school records in sports like the 300 metres hurdles and the heptathlon. She was also part of record-breaking relay teams (4x100 and 4x400 meters). Janeshia also played volleyball. In her last year of high school, she was the champion for the 300 meters hurdles in California.

College Studies

After high school, Janeshia attended the University of California, Berkeley. She studied languages and African-American culture, focusing on Caribbean traditions. She earned a bachelor's degree from the university. Janeshia is also fluent in American sign language. She is the leader of Hyphy 4 Christ, Inc., which is a faith-based organization.

Bobsledding

From 2006 to 2007, Janeshia was a member of the U.S. National Bobsled team. She worked as a brakeman, helping to stop the bobsled. She and Jamia Jackson made history as the first all African-American female bobsled team.

In 2012, Janeshia started her professional wrestling career. She joined WOW! Women of Wrestling. Her wrestling name was FROST The Olympian. This name was inspired by her real-life experience as a bobsledder. Also in 2012, Janeshia hosted a radio show called Lady J's Wild World of Sports.

Acting and Stunt Work

Janeshia prepared for her stunt career by learning taekwondo and gymnastics. She also gained experience by working as an extra on movie sets.

Janeshia began working as a stunt performer in 2010. She has performed stunts for many TV shows, including The Mindy Project, K.C. Undercover, True Blood, and American Horror Story. She also worked as a stunt performer for the movie Avengers: Infinity War. In that film, she was the stunt double for actress Danai Gurira. Janeshia also performed stunts for 9-1-1, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Us.

In 2018, Janeshia appeared in the movie Black Panther. She played Nomble, a member of the Dora Milaje, who are the king's bodyguards.
