Jarret Webster Johnson (born August 14, 1981) is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Jarret played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2003 NFL draft. He also played for the San Diego Chargers.

Early Life and High School Football
Jarret Johnson grew up in Cedar Key, Florida. He went to Chiefland High School. There, he was a great defensive player. He helped his team reach the State Title game.
College Football Career
Jarret went to the University of Alabama. He played defensive end for the Crimson Tide. He was the only player in Alabama Crimson Tide history to be team captain twice.
In his final year, he was a First-team SEC player. He was also a Second-team All-American. He finished his college career with 23 sacks. A "sack" is when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback. This was the second-highest number of sacks in Alabama history. He also tied for second in "tackles for loss."
