Jimmy Carr (born March 25, 1933 – died August 13, 2012) was an American football star. He played for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). His teams included the Chicago Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Redskins. Jimmy also played one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Montreal Alouettes in 1958.

He was a starting player for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1960. That year, his team won the World Championship. They beat the Green Bay Packers in an exciting game. Before playing professionally, Jimmy played college football at Morris Harvey. This school is now known as the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. While in college, he played in three important bowl games. In 1962, he was honored by being inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame.
