Judith Gap Wind Farm
Generating Clean Energy
Judith Gap is a great place for a wind power project. This is because of its topography (the shape of the land) and its strong, steady prevailing winds. Wind farms use large turbines to capture the wind's energy and turn it into electricity.
Size of the Wind Farm
The Judith Gap Wind Farm is one of the biggest wind power projects in the United States. It has 90 wind turbines. These turbines can produce up to 135 megawatts of electricity. That's enough clean energy to power many homes!
