Julie Isabel Bishop (born 17 July 1956) is an Australian politician.

She was the Minister for Foreign Affairs from 18 September 2013 to 26 August 2018 and the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 29 November 2007 to 24 August 2018.

For her efforts made in the aftermath of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, she was given a medal of merit by the Netherlands at the NATO summit in Newport, Wales.

Bishop was born in Lobethal, South Australia. She was married to Neil Gillon from 1983 until 1988. She is a Christian.
