The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the fifth time this exciting music competition took place. It happened in Rotterdam, Netherlands, at the Ahoy' arena. The big show was on 8 December 2007.
The Dutch TV channel AVRO helped organize the event. The main idea for the contest was "Make A Big Splash". This meant making a big impact with music!

How the Points Worked
In the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, each country gives points to their favorite songs. They give 1 to 8 points, then 10 points, and finally 12 points to their top 10 songs.
To make sure no country ended up with zero points, every country automatically started with 12 points! This was a special rule for the Junior contest.
