Kaveh Rezaei (Persian: کاوه رضایی) is a professional football player from Iran. He plays as a striker for Sepahan and is also part of the Iran national team. He was born on April 5, 1992, in Eslamabad Gharb, Iran.

Club Career Highlights
Starting at Foolad
Kaveh Rezaei began his football journey at Foolad. During the 2010–11 season, he scored one goal and helped his team with two assists in 16 games. In the next season, he played in 12 games.
Moving to Saipa
To get more playing time, Rezaei moved to Saipa for the 2012–13 season. Even though he wasn't always a starter, he played in 33 matches and scored 5 goals. He also made 2 assists that season. By the 2014–15 season, Rezaei decided not to continue his contract with Saipa.
Success with Zob Ahan
On December 28, 2014, Rezaei joined Zob Ahan with a contract until the end of the 2015–16 season. He played his first game for the club on January 30, 2015. In that game, he helped his team win 1–0 against Persepolis by assisting the only goal.
The next week, he scored his first goal for Zob Ahan in a 3–0 win against Rah Ahan. On April 16, 2015, he scored three goals in one game, helping his team win 5–3 against Naft Tehran. He also played in the 2015 Hazfi Cup Final, where Zob Ahan won the title. Rezaei scored the third goal in their 3–1 victory.
In the 2015–16 season, Rezaei scored his first goal against Persepolis in a 2–1 win. On May 29, 2016, he won the Hazfi Cup for the second time in a row. Zob Ahan beat Esteghlal in a penalty shootout in the final.
Joining Esteghlal
On June 16, 2016, Rezaei signed a contract with Esteghlal. He chose Esteghlal even though he had an offer from their rivals, Persepolis. He was given the number 9 jersey.

Rezaei's first game for Esteghlal was on July 25, 2016. He assisted a goal in a 1–1 draw. On July 31, he scored his first goal for the club. On February 12, 2017, Esteghlal won the Tehran derby against Persepolis 3–2, with Rezaei scoring the third goal.
On February 27, 2017, in an AFC Champions League match, he scored a goal just 53 seconds after the game started. This was the fastest goal by an Iranian player in the AFC Champions League. He scored more goals in the Champions League against Lokomotiv Tashkent and Al-Ahli. He finished the season with 7 goals and 9 assists, making him the top assistant in the league. Esteghlal finished second in the league that season.
Playing in Belgium with Charleroi
On June 14, 2017, Kaveh Rezaei signed a two-year contract with Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi. He was given the number 9 shirt.
First Season (2017–18)
Rezaei played his first game for Charleroi on July 29, 2017. On August 26, he scored his first two goals for the club, helping them win 3–2 against Zulte Waregem. After his great performance in September, fans voted him as the club's best player of the month. On November 18, he scored two more goals and dedicated them to people affected by an earthquake in Iran.
Second Season (2018–19)
Rezaei started the new season by scoring two goals in a 4–1 win against Eupen.
Joining Club Brugge
On August 22, 2018, Rezaei moved to Club Brugge. This transfer was reported to be a club-record fee of €5,000,000.
Returning to Charleroi on Loan
Rezaei rejoined Charleroi on loan on August 27, 2019. He then joined them again on another loan for the 2020–21 season.
Time at Oud-Heverlee Leuven
On August 4, 2021, OH Leuven announced that Rezaei had signed a one-year deal with them.
International Career
Youth Teams
Iran U17
Rezaei was the top scorer in the 2008 AFC U-16 Championship. He scored in every game he played, finishing with 6 goals in 5 matches. Iran won the championship, beating South Korea 2–0 in the final. Rezaei also played for Iran in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where he scored a goal against Gambia.
Iran U19
Rezaei was part of the squad for the 2010 AFC U-19 Championship. He scored both goals in Iran's only win of the tournament.
Iran U23
In 2012, he joined the Iran U23 team. He was the top goalscorer in the group stage of the 2013 AFC U-22 Championship, scoring 5 goals in 3 matches, including three goals in one game. He was also on the final list for the 2014 Asian Games.
Senior National Team

Kaveh Rezaei was first called up to the senior Iran national team on August 30, 2015. He made his debut on September 8, 2015, against India during the 2018 World Cup Qualification.
After two years, he was called up again on October 1, 2017, for friendly matches against Togo and Russia. On March 17, 2018, he scored his first international goal in a 4–0 win against Sierra Leone. In May 2018, he was named in Iran's first squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but he did not make the final team.
Playing Style
Kaveh Rezaei is known as a hard-working, skilled, and creative forward. He is good at heading the ball and has strong shooting ability. While he often plays as a typical number 9 (a main striker), he has also played on the wings during his career. His teammate, French goalkeeper Nicolas Penneteau, has called him "a complete striker."
Personal Life
In May 2017, Kaveh Rezaei married Farnoosh Sheikhi, who is a player for the Iran women's national volleyball team. His father-in-law, Fereydoun Sheikhi, sadly passed away in a plane crash in January 2019.
Kaveh Rezaei's football hero is Thierry Henry. He is good friends with other football players like Mehdi Rahmati, Bakhtiar Rahmani, and Soroush Rafiei. He also enjoys the work of actor Navid Mohammadzadeh. Kaveh can speak both Persian and Kurdish fluently.
