Kaveh Rezaei (Persian: کاوه رضایی) is a professional football player from Iran. He plays as a striker for the club Sepahan and also for the Iran national team.

Kaveh Rezaei's Club Journey
Starting with Foolad
Kaveh Rezaei began his football career at Foolad. In the 2010–11 season, he scored one goal and helped his teammates score two more in 16 games. The next season, he played in 12 games.
Moving to Saipa
Rezaei joined Saipa in the 2012–13 season to get more time on the field. He played in 33 games and scored 5 goals. He also made 2 assists that season.
Time at Zob Ahan
On December 28, 2014, Rezaei signed an 18-month contract with Zob Ahan. He played his first game for the club on January 30, 2015. He helped his team win 1–0 against Persepolis by assisting the only goal.
The next week, he scored his first goal for Zob Ahan. On April 16, 2015, he scored three goals in one game, which is called a hat-trick. Zob Ahan won the 2015 Hazfi Cup Final and Rezaei scored a goal in that final match.
In the 2015–16 season, he scored his first goal against Persepolis. On May 29, 2016, Rezaei won the Hazfi Cup again with Zob Ahan. They won the final game against Esteghlal after a penalty shootout.
Playing for Esteghlal
On June 16, 2016, Rezaei joined Esteghlal. He chose the number 9 jersey, which was worn by a famous Esteghlal player before him.

He played his first game for Esteghlal on July 25, 2016. He scored his first goal for the club on July 31. On February 12, 2017, Esteghlal won against their city rivals Persepolis, and Rezaei scored the third goal.
On February 27, 2017, in an AFC Champions League game, he scored a goal just 53 seconds after the game started. This was the fastest goal by an Iranian player in that competition. He scored more goals in the Champions League against Lokomotiv Tashkent and Al-Ahli. He finished the season with 7 goals and 9 assists.
Adventures in Belgium with Charleroi
On June 14, 2017, Rezaei signed a two-year contract with the Belgian club Sporting Charleroi. He was given the number 9 shirt.
First Season at Charleroi (2017–18)
Rezaei played his first game for Charleroi on July 29, 2017. On August 26, he scored his first two goals for the club in one game. Fans voted him as the club's best player for September. On November 18, he scored two more goals and dedicated them to people affected by an earthquake in Iran.
Second Season at Charleroi (2018–19)
Rezaei started the new season by scoring two goals in a 4–1 win.
Joining Club Brugge
On August 22, 2018, Rezaei moved to Club Brugge. This was a big transfer for the club.
Returning to Charleroi
He later returned to Charleroi on loan on August 27, 2019. He played for Charleroi on loan for another season starting July 31, 2020.
Playing for Oud-Heverlee Leuven
On August 4, 2021, OH Leuven announced that Rezaei had joined their team for one year.

Youth Teams
Iran U17 Team
Rezaei was the top scorer in the 2008 AFC U-16 Championship. He scored in every game he played, finishing with 6 goals in 5 games. Iran won the championship that year. He also played for Iran in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup and scored a goal.
Iran U19 Team
Rezaei was part of the 2010 AFC U-19 Championship team. He scored two goals in Iran's only win of the tournament.
Iran U23 Team
In 2012, he joined the Iran U23 team. He was the top scorer in the group stage of the 2013 AFC U-22 Championship with 5 goals in 3 matches, including a hat-trick. He also played for Iran U23 in the 2014 Asian Games.
Senior National Team

Rezaei was first called up to the senior Iran national team on August 30, 2015. He made his debut on September 8, 2015. After two years, he was called up again on October 1, 2017, for friendly matches. On March 17, 2018, he scored his first goal for Iran in a 4–0 win. He was part of Iran's team for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but he did not make the final list of 23 players.

Kaveh Rezaei's Personal Life
In May 2017, Kaveh Rezaei married Farnoosh Sheikhi, who is a player for the Iran women's national volleyball team. His father-in-law passed away in a plane crash in January 2019.
Kaveh Rezaei's football hero is Thierry Henry. He is also friends with other football players like Mehdi Rahmati, Bakhtiar Rahmani, and Soroush Rafiei. He enjoys movies and says Navid Mohammadzadeh is his favorite actor. Kaveh can speak both Persian and Kurdish.
