Kevin Grevioux (born September 9, 1962) is an American actor, screenwriter, director, and comic book writer. He is well-known for playing Raze in the Underworld movies. He also helped create this film series. You might also know his deep voice from the cartoon Young Justice, where he voiced the villain Black Beetle.

Kevin Grevioux has a very interesting background. He has worked in many different areas of entertainment. He is known for his unique voice and for creating exciting stories.
Early Life and Education
Kevin Grevioux went to Howard University in Washington, D.C.. He graduated in 1987 with a degree in microbiology. He also studied chemistry and psychology. After college, he started studying genetic engineering in graduate school.
However, he soon found a new passion. He began taking classes in screenwriting and cinematography. After his first semester, he moved to Los Angeles. He wanted to start a career as a writer. He has written many movie scripts in different styles. In 2003, he also started his own graphic novel company called Darkstorm Comic Studios.
His Amazing Career
Kevin Grevioux has appeared in many movies as an actor. These include The Mask, Steel, and Congo. He was also in Tim Burton's remake of Planet of the Apes. In 2003, he acted in the movie Underworld. This film was about vampires and werewolves.
Creating the Underworld Series
Underworld was the first movie Kevin Grevioux wrote that was actually made. He came up with the main idea for the story. He wrote the first script with director Len Wiseman. This movie then started the whole Underworld series!
In the film, Kevin played a werewolf character named Raze. He returned as Raze in the prequel movie, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. He plans to turn this prequel into a comic book series too.
Kevin based the Underworld story on the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet. He used his own experiences with interracial dating as inspiration. He also added a scientific twist to vampires and werewolves. In his stories, their powers come from a viral mutagen, not just old myths.
Comic Book Worlds
In 2006, Grevioux started two comic book companies. They were called Astounding Comics and Darkstorm Comics. Astounding Comics creates stories for all ages. Some of their titles are Valkyries and Guardian Heroes. Darkstorm Studios makes comics for older readers. These include Alivs Rex and Skull and Guns.
Kevin Grevioux also has a very deep voice. Many fans of Underworld thought his voice was changed by a computer. But it wasn't! That's just his natural voice.
He has written for big comic book companies too. He wrote for Marvel Comics' New Warriors. He also created a character called Blue Marvel when he was a teenager. He later wrote a miniseries about this character called Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel. He has also written stories for The Phantom and Mandrake the Magician. Another comic he wrote is ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction.
Directing and Producing
In 2009, Kevin Grevioux hosted a TV show pilot called Monster Tracker on Discovery Channel.
He also sold the idea for the movie I, Frankenstein. This movie was based on his own graphic novel. The story is about Victor Frankenstein's monster. The monster has to stop supernatural creatures from taking over the world. The movie came out in 2014.
Since 2017, he has been working on an action webcomic called Brothers Bond. He worked with Ryan Benjamin on this project. They were even nominated for the famous Eisner Award for Best Webcomic!
In 2019, Kevin voiced The Vault Keeper in an audio drama. It was based on the old EC Comics series, The Vault of Horror.
In 2022, Kevin Grevioux directed, wrote, and produced the action film King of Killers. This movie starred Alain Moussi and Frank Grillo. It was also based on one of his Darkstorm graphic novels.
Kevin Grevioux is a big fan of the NFL. His favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings.
