Kiana Ledé Brown (born April 3, 1997) is an American singer and actress. She first became known for her acting roles. She played Zoe Vaughn in the second season of MTV's TV show Scream. She also starred as Veronica Washington in the Netflix series All About the Washingtons.
As a singer, Kiana Ledé started her music career in 2012. She signed with Republic Records and released her EP (Extended Play) called Selfless in 2018. This EP included her popular song "Ex". This song was very successful and earned a platinum award. Her first full album, Kiki (2020), reached number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Early Life and How She Started
Kiana Ledé Brown's father is African American and Indigenous American. Her mother is white Hispanic and Mexican-American. Kiana loved to sing from a very young age. She started singing the alphabet as a baby. By age three, she was already performing after getting her first karaoke machine.
As a child, she often performed in school plays and beauty pageants. She also learned to play the piano. Kiana would sometimes get in trouble at school for singing in class. She then sang Adele's "Someone Like You". This performance helped her reach the Top 4. Kiana Ledé won the 2011 KIDZ Star USA Grand Prize. She beat out 45,000 other young performers in this big national talent contest.
First Record Deal and Songs
At a school assembly, Kiana was surprised by American Idol winner Kris Allen. He told her she had won the competition. Her prize included a recording contract with RCA Records. She also got a starring role in the Kidz Bop 21 music video and commercial. Kris Allen was very impressed with her live performance.
