Kirby Fighters 2 is an exciting fighting game released in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch. It's the follow-up to Kirby Fighters Deluxe. How to Play: Fun Battles!
Kirby Fighters 2 is a fast-paced platform fighting game. Up to four friends can play together. You can play on the same Nintendo Switch console. Or, you can play with others online or through local wireless. The game uses fighting moves that are common in the Kirby series. Each player picks a special ability. These abilities come from past Kirby games. There's also a brand-new ability called Wrestler Kirby! Each ability gives your character different moves. Most characters are different versions of Kirby. But you can also play as other characters. These include King Dedede and Meta Knight.
Story Mode: The Destined Rivals
The main story mode is called "The Destined Rivals." It has five exciting chapters. In this mode, you fight many computer-controlled enemy Kirbys. They have random copy abilities. You can play with a friend or a computer-controlled helper. The last three chapters end with a big fight. You will face off against King Dedede and Meta Knight. This mode lets you choose upgrades after each battle. This makes every playthrough a bit different and exciting. If your team loses three times in the final chapter, you must start that chapter over.

Besides the story, there are other fun ways to play. "Single-Handed Mode" is like the single-player mode in Kirby Fighters Deluxe. "Battle Mode" lets up to four players fight in one match. You can also play with friends far away in "Online Mode." "Local Play Mode" lets you connect with nearby consoles. And "Training" helps you practice your moves.
Making the Game: Development Story
HAL Laboratory and Vanpool worked together to create Kirby Fighters 2. Nintendo then published the game. They used the game engine from Super Kirby Clash. The game launched globally on September 23, 2020. You could find it on the Nintendo eShop. This was six years after the first game, Kirby Fighters Deluxe.
