Kushtagi is a town located in the Koppal district of Karnataka, a state in India. It is an important center for its local area, known as a taluk.

The region around Kushtagi is famous for growing delicious pomegranate fruits. In the heart of the town, you can find a special place called the Durga Devi temple.

Kushtagi is surrounded by other towns: Ilkal is to its north, Gajendragad to the west, Hospet to the south, and Sindhanur to the east. The soil here is a mix of red and black.
