Lac la Plonge is a beautiful lake located in Saskatchewan, Canada. It was formed by huge sheets of ice, called glaciers, a very long time ago. This lake is part of the Beaver River system. It is also found near another lake called Lac Île-à-la-Crosse.

Lac la Plonge is in the northern part of Saskatchewan. This area is known as the Boreal Forest, which is a large forest region. It is also close to the Canadian Shield, an ancient rocky part of Canada. The small community of Lac La Plonge is located on the lake's north shore. You can easily reach this community by taking Highway 165. The La Plonge River flows out of the lake's northwest side. It then travels west and joins the Beaver River near a place called Beauval.
