Christmas Charity Songs
LadBaby and his wife, Roxanne, started releasing special Christmas songs to help people. These songs are often funny versions of popular tunes.
"We Built This City" (2018)
On 14 December 2018, they released their first charity single. It was a funny version of Starship's song "We Built This City". They changed the words to be about sausage rolls! All the money from this song went to The Trussell Trust, a charity that helps food banks. The song became the number one hit in the UK for Christmas 2018. This made LadBaby the first British YouTuber to have a number one song.
"I Love Sausage Rolls" (2019)
A year later, on 13 December 2019, they released "I Love Sausage Rolls". This was a funny version of "I Love Rock 'n' Roll". The cover of the song looked like the famous Abbey Road album cover. This song also became the Christmas number one! It meant they were only the third act ever to have two Christmas number ones in a row. Just like before, the money raised went to The Trussell Trust.
"Don't Stop Me Eatin'" (2020)
On 13 December 2020, LadBaby announced their next Christmas song, "Don't Stop Me Eatin'". It was a funny version of "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey. This song was also about sausage rolls and helped The Trussell Trust. The song's cover looked like Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
They even released a special version of "Don't Stop Me Eatin'" with singer Ronan Keating. On Christmas Day 2020, it was announced that the song was the number one hit for Christmas! LadBaby became one of the few acts to get to number one with their first three songs.
Record-Breaking Christmas Hits (2018-2022)
In December 2021, LadBaby tried for a fourth Christmas number one. Their new song, "Sausage Rolls For Everyone", was based on a song by Ed Sheeran and Elton John. This song also helped The Trussell Trust. LadBaby got their fourth Christmas number one in a row!
Then, on 23 December 2022, their song "Food Aid" became their fifth Christmas number one! This was a huge achievement, as it meant they had more Christmas number ones than any other artist in British history, even more than the Beatles!
LadBaby decided not to release a Christmas song in 2023.
Other Fun Projects
LadBaby and Roxanne have done many other cool things besides music.
Hidden Talents and Awards
In 2012, they were on a TV show called Hidden Talent. Roxanne learned to hold her breath underwater for over four minutes!
In 2018, Mark won the "Celebrity Dad of the Year" award, beating even Prince William. The next year, Roxanne won "Celebrity Mum of the Year".
Books and Snacks
In 2019, the Hoyles wrote a book called Parenting for £1: ...And Other Baby Budget Hacks. It shares their tips for saving money as parents.
In 2020, they teamed up with Walkers to make special sausage roll-flavoured crisps. Five pence from each pack went to The Trussell Trust. They even filmed a Walkers Christmas TV advert!
In 2021, Roxanne launched her own clothing line. Mark and Roxanne also wrote a children's book called Greg the Sausage Roll: Santa's Little Helper. They worked with publishers and charities to make sure a book was given to a child in need for every book sold. They also shared that they both have dyslexia, which means they sometimes find reading and writing tricky.
They have released more "Greg the Sausage Roll" books, including Greg the Sausage Roll: The Perfect Present (2022), Greg the Sausage Roll: Wish You Were Here (2023), and Greg the Sausage Roll: Egg-cellent Easter Adventure (2024). These books also help raise money for The Trussell Trust.
Board Game Fun
In September 2024, LadBaby partnered with Format Games to create a family board game called Sausage Roll!. They said it would bring the fun of their videos to your living room.
