Lake Glory, also known as Lake Adell Marie or Lake Adele Marie, is a man-made lake in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. It covers about 5.4 acres (2.2 hectares) and is located in Cleveland Township. This lake is close to Roaring Creek and two main roads, Pennsylvania Route 487 and Pennsylvania Route 42. Lake Glory was created in the 1950s and became a popular spot for fun activities by the 1970s. It is also near the Lake Glory Campground.

The Story of Lake Glory
Lake Glory has an interesting history. It was officially added to the Geographic Names Information System on September 1, 1989. This happened because the lake appeared on a county highway map from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Names and Owners
Historically, the lake was called Lake Adele Marie or Lake Adell Marie. These names came from Adell Norwich Sircovics, who was the wife of the lake's very first owner. Later, Charles King owned the lake and changed its name to Lake Glory. The name "Glory" was chosen to be "inspirational," according to a book from 1982 called Columbia County Place Names.
Fun Times at the Lake
In the summer of 1967, a big event called a clam bake was held at Lake Glory. It was organized by a local group called the American Legion. By the 1970s, the area around Lake Glory became a popular spot for building vacation homes and cabins.
