Leopold Bros. is a special company that makes different kinds of drinks. It is owned and run by a family in Denver, Colorado. They are known for doing almost everything themselves. This includes preparing the grains, mixing them, and making the drinks. They also age and bottle all their products right there.
This company has the biggest traditional floor malting room of any similar place in the United States. Here, they prepare barley from Colorado. Leopold Bros. makes over twenty different products. Each one is made from scratch using natural ingredients. Many of their drinks have won awards in big international contests.

How Leopold Bros. Started
The company was started by two brothers, Scott and Todd Leopold. They opened a place in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1999. At first, it was a brewpub, which is a place that makes and sells its own beer. Later, they also started making other drinks.
Todd Leopold was the main person in charge of making the beer and other drinks. He studied brewing in Chicago and then learned more in Germany. Scott Leopold is an environmental engineer. He helped design the factory to be as clean as possible. The company tried to create very little waste.
Moving to Denver
Leopold Bros. closed its Ann Arbor location in 2008. They moved to Denver, Colorado. In Denver, they stopped making beer and focused only on making other types of drinks.
To keep up with how popular their products were, Leopold Bros. opened a new, bigger factory. This new place can make three times more products than their old one. It also has one of the few malting floors outside of Scotland. A malting floor is where grains are prepared to make drinks. In 2015, they won the Distillery of the Year award. This award came from the American Distilling Institute.
