Lewisham Shopping Centre, once known as Riverdale Centre, is a popular shopping mall in Lewisham, London, England. It's the main place for shopping in the London Borough of Lewisham. Part of the complex also includes the Lewisham House office tower. This building used to be home to Citibank, but there are plans to change it into apartments.
The shopping centre is right in the middle of Lewisham town centre. It was built over old streets called Rhyme Road and Romer Avenue. You can find its official entrance on Molesworth Street, which is part of the A21 road. The car park is located on the upper levels of the centre. Inside, you'll find useful things like public toilets with baby changing facilities, photobooths, and cash machines (ATMs).
Since the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) line was extended to Lewisham station, more people have been visiting the centre.
What You Can Find Inside
The Lewisham Shopping Centre has many different shops. Some of the biggest ones include Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, H&M, and Argos.
During the summer months, you can also visit the Model Market. This is a special street food market located at the south end of the shopping centre site. It's a great place to try different kinds of food!
