The Powerpuff Girls video games are a series of exciting action and platformer games. They are based on the popular Cartoon Network animated series, The Powerpuff Girls. Companies like BAM! Entertainment helped publish these games. Cartoon Network Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also helped get them to players.

You can find Powerpuff Girls games on many different systems. For example, Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Advance had games like Bad Mojo Jojo and Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go. Console games, played on bigger systems, include Chemical X-Traction for Nintendo 64 and PlayStation. There were also games for Microsoft Windows computers, such as Mojo Jojo's Clone Zone.

The Powerpuff Girls have also appeared in other Cartoon Network games. These include Cartoon Network Racing and the big online game Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. They even showed up in fighting games like Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion.

  • The Powerpuff Girls: Paint the Townsville Green also came out for the Game Boy Color. It was released on November 21, 2000. This game lets you play as Buttercup. She battles the Gangreen Gang. This game is similar to Bad Mojo Jojo. You could even trade special cards between the two games if you linked them up!
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Battle HIM was released for the Game Boy Color on February 27, 2001. Unlike the other two games, this one lets you play as Bubbles. She fights against the spooky villain HIM and his helpers. Just like the other games, you could trade cards between them.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go is a game for the Game Boy Advance. It came out in 2001. The main goal of this game is to stop Mojo Jojo and his many minions.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: HIM and Seek was made for the Game Boy Advance. It was released on October 29, 2002. This game is a role-playing video game. You get to play as all three Powerpuff Girls! Your mission is to find hidden items while fighting bad guys like Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, and HIM.
  • Game de Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z (ゲームで出ましたっ! パワパフ ガールズ Z, Gēmu de Demashita! Pawāpafu Gāruzu Zetto) is a party video game. It is based on the spin-off anime series, Powerpuff Girls Z. This game was released in Japan for the Nintendo DS on June 14, 2007.

  • The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X-Traction was released for the Nintendo 64 on October 14, 2001. It also came out for the PlayStation on November 8, 2001. The Powerpuff Girls must fight enemies in different places. Their goal is to get back the powerful Chemical X and find Mojo Jojo. You can play the story mode or battle a friend. In story mode, you can pick up objects and throw them at enemies. Collecting Chemical X vials gives you super-powered attacks!
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Relish Rampage was first released for the PlayStation 2 in November 2002. It later came out for the GameCube in December 2002. In this game, you play as the three Powerpuff Girls. You fly around a 3D world solving puzzles. Your mission is to stop an invasion of Townsville by pickles from outer space!

Games for Computers (Windows)

  • The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo's Clone Zone is a learning game for computers. It was made for kids aged 6 and up. In this game, Mojo Jojo creates many robot clones to take over Townsville. The Powerpuff Girls must collect parts from the clones. This helps them get into Mojo Jojo's secret hideout to defeat them.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Gamesville was released for PC-CD-ROM on October 31, 2002.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Princess Snorebucks is another computer game. In this game, the Powerpuff Girls fall under a sleeping spell. This happens because of Princess Morbucks' magical music box. The girls must collect notes from the music box. Their goal is to destroy the music box so they can wake up!
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo's Pet Project is an adventure game for computers. You play as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. You also use their new supercomputer. You play different arcade-style games to save Townsville. The city is being attacked by mutated animals!
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville is an action-adventure game. It uses the computer-generated (CGI) designs from the 2014 special Dance Pantsed. But you can also play with the classic designs from the original TV series.

Other Game Appearances

  • Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion/XL is a fighting game. It was released for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011. Later, it came out for Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3 in November 2011. All three Powerpuff Girls are playable characters. Mojo Jojo and HIM are also in the game. The Rowdyruff Boys appear as alternate costumes for the girls.
  • Cartoon Network Racing is a racing game. It was released for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS in December 2006. All three Powerpuff Girls are playable characters. Mojo Jojo, HIM, and Professor Utonium also join the race!
  • Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall was a huge online game. It was released on January 14, 2009. In this game, the Powerpuff Girls, Mojo Jojo, HIM, and many other characters appeared. They were non-playable characters (NPCs) who you could meet in the game world. The game's servers were shut down on August 29, 2013.
  • Lego Dimensions is a video game where you use real Lego toys. It came out in September 2015 for many systems. These include PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. In September 2017, special Lego packs for The Powerpuff Girls were released. These packs included Lego minifigures of Blossom and Bubbles. There was also a Buttercup minifigure.
