This church, originally called the All Souls Universalist Church, was built in 1892. It looks like an English Gothic castle, made of brick and red sandstone. It even has a 50-foot (15-meter) tower and beautiful stained glass windows!

Built in 1881, this church is the oldest church building still standing in Riverside. It was designed in the Gothic Revival style.

This church was designed by architect Myron Hunt in a fancy Spanish style. It was finished in 1914. It has a 135-foot (41-meter) bell tower with 24 bronze bells! These are the only bells in Southern California that can "peal" (ring loudly all together).

This tree is super important because it's the "parent" of all navel orange trees in California! It's a living piece of history for the state's citrus industry.

The first wooden bridge here was built in 1891 to connect different parts of the city. The current bridge, made of reinforced concrete, was built in 1928.

Built in 1891, this house was for James M. Wood, a famous theater architect from Chicago. He designed the inside of the Loring Opera House.

  • Nielsen Pool House (5050 Sedgwick Ave.)

Built in 1964, this house was home to Svend Nielsen, an engineer who worked on famous buildings like the Forum in Los Angeles. It's a great example of Mid-Century Modern architecture and even has an indoor swimming pool with a roof that can open!

  • World War II Water Buffalo Tank (Fairmount Park)

This tank is a memorial to the "Water Buffalo" vehicles that were designed and tested in Riverside during World War II. These special tanks could move on land and in water! The park's Lake Evans and the nearby Santa Ana River were used for testing them.

  • Giant Lily Cup (Iowa Ave north of Palmyrita Ave)

Imagine the world's largest "paper" cup! This one is actually made of concrete and stands about 68.1 feet (20.8 meters) tall. It's in front of what used to be a company that made cups.

  • Main Street Pedestrian Mall Antique Clock Tower (southwest corner of Mission Inn Ave and Main St)

This 13-foot (4-meter) tall street clock was made in 1908! It used to stand in front of a jewelry store and was moved several times. It was completely fixed up in 2010 and placed in its current spot.

  • Concrete Railway Viaduct (crossing the Santa Ana River near Fremont St)

When this railway bridge was built in 1903, it was said to be the largest concrete bridge of its kind in the world! It's 984 feet (300 meters) long and about 55 feet (17 meters) high.

This 161-foot (49-meter) tall bell tower at the University of California, Riverside, holds 48 bells! The bells range from small (28 pounds or 13 kg) to very large (5,091 pounds or 2,310 kg). You can often hear performances there.

  • Riverside County Administration Building (4080 Lemon St.)

This is the tallest building in Riverside, standing at 196 feet (60 meters) with 14 floors. It's used for government offices.

This residential building is 166 feet (51 meters) tall and has 16 floors.

  • Marriott Hotel Riverside (3400 Market St.)

This hotel is 127 feet (39 meters) tall and has 12 floors.

  • First Congregational Church of Riverside (3504 Mission Inn Ave.)

The church's bell tower reaches 125 feet (38 meters).
