List of longest bridges facts for kids

It's important to know that there isn't one single way to measure a bridge's total length. Some measurements include the long ramps leading up to the bridge, while others only count the part directly over water or land. Because of this, the order of bridges on this list might change depending on how they are measured. The numbers are also estimates, and conversions between meters and feet might be slightly different due to rounding.

Longest Completed Bridges
Here are some of the longest bridges that are already finished and in use around the world. Many of the longest bridges are actually "viaducts," which are long bridges made of many smaller sections, often used for high-speed trains or highways over land.
