List of rivers of Luxembourg facts for kids
Luxembourg might be a small country, but it has many important rivers! These rivers are like the country's veins, carrying water across the land. They all eventually flow into the North Sea.
Luxembourg's Rivers
All of Luxembourg's rivers eventually drain into the North Sea. Most of them flow into the Moselle River. However, in the very southwest of the country, rivers flow into the Chiers River.
How Rivers Are Listed
In this list, rivers that flow directly into the sea are sorted alphabetically. Rivers that flow into other rivers are sorted by how close their meeting point is to the sea. Some big rivers, like the Meuse and the Rhine, don't actually flow through Luxembourg. But they are mentioned because rivers from Luxembourg flow into them.
