The River's Journey
The Little Shashiskau River starts its journey from a lake that doesn't have a name. This lake is found in the Shashiskau Hills. From there, the river flows mostly north. Then, it turns and flows towards the northwest. Finally, it reaches Shashiskau Lake. Here, it joins the larger Shashiskau River.
Part of a Bigger Water System
The Little Shashiskau River is part of a much larger water system. After joining the Shashiskau River, its waters continue to flow. They travel through the Kesagami River. Then, they join the Harricana River. All these rivers eventually carry their water to James Bay. James Bay is a large body of water connected to Hudson Bay.
