Littleton Common is found in the northwestern part of Middlesex County. Its exact location is around 42.536606 degrees North and 71.471984 degrees West. This area is in the eastern section of the larger town of Littleton.
Borders and Roads
To the northeast, Littleton Common borders the town of Westford. To the northwest, it is next to Interstate 495, a major highway. You can get to Littleton Common from this highway using Exit 79 (which connects to Routes 2A and 110) and Exit 80 (which connects to Route 119).
On its southwest side, Littleton Common is bordered by Harwood Avenue. To the southeast, its borders are Newtown Road, Shaker Lane, and Power Road.
Connecting Roads
Several important roads pass through or near Littleton Common.
- Massachusetts Route 2A and Route 110 (also known as King Street) head west from the community. They lead about 7 miles (11 km) to Ayer.
- Routes 2A and 119 (called Great Road) go southeast. They also lead about 7 miles (11 km) to West Concord.
- Route 110 goes northeast for about 10 miles (16 km) to Lowell.
- Route 119 goes northwest for about 7 miles (11 km) to Groton.

Long Pond is a body of water located in the southern part of Littleton Common. Beaver Brook is a stream that flows northward through the western side of the community. This brook is part of the larger Merrimack River watershed, which means its water eventually flows into the Merrimack River.
