EY! Magateen focuses on the energy and spirit of young males, usually between 16 and 21 years old. Each new issue highlights a specific country or city. Only 1,000 copies of each issue are printed. The young people featured in EY! Magateen are often models, new artists, actors, or athletes.
Some issues of EY! Magateen (issues 6, 7, and 8) were made in partnership with the clothing company American Apparel.
About Candy
Candy is Luis Venegas’ third magazine, launched in October 2009. Its slogan is The First Transversal Style Magazine. This means it celebrates many different styles and ways of being. Like his other magazines, Candy is a special limited edition, with only 1,500 copies printed. The magazine's name is a tribute to Candy Darling, a famous performer.
Candy magazine celebrates different lifestyles and styles. Luis Venegas wanted Candy to be a magazine that shows how important fashion, makeup, and hair can be for many groups of people.
Many well-known photographers and writers contribute to Candy. These include Bruce Weber, Terry Richardson, Steven Klein, and Tim Walker.
For the second issue, Luis worked with the Swedish design company Acne. They created special unisex blouses named after characters from the TV show Dynasty.
