Luke Hemsworth (born on 5 November 1980) is an actor from Australia. He is well-known for playing Nathan Tyson in the TV show Neighbours. He also played Ashley Stubbs in the HBO science fiction series Westworld. Luke is the older brother of famous actors Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth.

Early Life and Family

Luke Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, Australia. He is the oldest son of Leonie and Craig Hemsworth. Leonie was an English teacher, and Craig worked as a social services counselor. Luke has two younger brothers, Chris and Liam, who are also actors. His family has roots from different countries, including the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, Scotland, and England.

Acting Career

Luke Hemsworth studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. He began his acting journey in 2001 on the Australian soap opera Neighbours. In this show, he played the character Nathan Tyson.

Luke has mostly worked in television. He has appeared in many TV series like The Saddle Club, Blue Heelers, and All Saints. From 2016 to 2022, he had a main role as Ashley Stubbs in the popular sci-fi series Westworld.

In 2012, Luke starred in a six-part mini-series called Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms. He played a character named Gregory "Shadow" Campbell. He also appeared in the 2019 film Crypto, where he played Caleb Duran. This movie was about a family caught up in a crypto conspiracy.

In 2018, Luke became the face of Tourism Australia. He appeared in an advertisement for "Dundee" to promote tourism in his home country. More recently, in November 2024, it was announced that Luke will join the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series Deadloch. He will play the role of Jason Wade.
