Lurine Lilian Cato is a talented British gospel singer and songwriter. She was born on September 9, 1974. Lurine won a MOBO Award for Best Gospel Act in 2013. She also reached the finals of Britain's Got Talent in 2018. She performed on the show with the B Positive Choir. In 2019, she appeared on the BBC show Songs of Praise. Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Lurine Cato grew up in a large family with 11 children. She started singing at a very young age. When she was just three, she performed at a big church event. At age eight, she entered a local competition in Enfield, London. She sang 'Let's Hear It For The Boy' and won second place. The next year, she won first place with 'The Greatest Love of All'. This early success showed her amazing talent.

As a young adult, Lurine toured with famous groups like the Lighthouse Family. She also sang with Lynden David Hall. Later, she formed a singing group called Redeemed. They opened shows for well-known gospel artists.

Britain's Got Talent 2018 Journey
Lurine Cato and the B Positive Choir took part in Britain's Got Talent 2018. They had a very successful audition on April 14, 2018. All four judges voted "Yes" for them. Even though they didn't win the public vote, Simon Cowell gave the B Positive Choir a "wild card" spot. This meant they could go to the finals.
The choir made it to the finals of Britain's Got Talent. They performed their audition song again. While they reached the final stage, they did not finish in the top three.
