Lyndon is a small community in Caledonia County, Vermont, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that the government counts as a separate place for population statistics. It was once called Lyndon Corner.

About Lyndon's Location
Lyndon is located in the northern part of Caledonia County. It sits in a valley near a stream called the South Wheelock Branch. This stream flows into the Passumpsic River. The Passumpsic River is part of the larger Connecticut River system.
Roads and Travel
Two important roads pass through or near Lyndon. U.S. Route 5 (also called Memorial Drive) goes through the eastern side of the community. Interstate 91 runs along Lyndon's eastern edge.
These two highways meet at Exit 23 of I-91. This exit is at the northeast corner of the village.
- U.S. Route 5: If you go north on US-5, you will reach Lyndonville in about 1 mile. Lyndonville is the biggest village in the town of Lyndon. If you go south on US-5, you will reach St. Johnsbury in about 7 miles.
- Interstate 91: Traveling north on I-91 takes you to Newport, which is about 35 miles away. Going south on I-91 will take you past St. Johnsbury. It's about 66 miles to White River Junction from Lyndon.
