Mühledorf was a small town, or "municipality," in Switzerland. It was located in the Bucheggberg District, in the area called the Canton of Solothurn.
On January 1, 2014, Mühledorf joined with several other nearby towns. They all became part of a new, larger municipality called Buchegg.

History of Mühledorf
Mühledorf was first mentioned in old writings around the year 1264. At that time, it was called Mulidorf. Later, in 1276, its name was written as Mvlidorf.
Geography of Mühledorf
Before it merged with other towns, Mühledorf covered an area of about 3.3 square kilometers (1.3 square miles).
Most of the land was used for farming, about 55%. Forests covered a large part too, about 38%. The rest of the land, about 7.6%, had buildings and roads.
Mühledorf was located in the Bucheggberg district. It was a "linear village," meaning its buildings stretched out along a road or valley.
