Marcos Alberto Skavinski, known as Marcão, is a Brazilian football coach. He was also a professional football player. Marcão was born on March 28, 1975, in Curitiba, Brazil. He played as a central defender during his career.

Marcão's Playing Career
Marcão started his football journey in youth teams. He played for Coritiba from 1991 to 1992. His professional career began in 1996.
Playing for Brazilian Clubs
Marcão played for many different clubs in Brazil. He joined São Caetano in 1998. Later, he played for Atlético Mineiro in 1999. He returned to São Caetano for a short time.
He also played for Matonense on loan. Other clubs included Santo André and Marília. In 2003, he played for Juventude.
From 2004 to 2007, Marcão was with Atlético Paranaense. He played 72 games for them. After that, he joined Internacional in 2007. He also played for Palmeiras and Goiás.
Playing in Japan
In 2006, Marcão went to Japan. He played for Kawasaki Frontale on loan. He played 28 league games and scored 2 goals there. He also played in the Emperor's Cup and J.League Cup. In total, he played 39 games for Kawasaki Frontale.
Marcão's Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Marcão became a football coach. He started coaching youth teams.
