In 1980, a photo of Marsco and Glen Sligachan was used on the cover of an album called Organisation. This album was made by a British band called Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). Later, in 1981, a Scottish rock band named Runrig released a song called "Nightfall on Marsco" on their album Recovery. It shows how much this mountain means to people.
