Max Sandro Barbosa de Oliveira, known to many as just Max Sandro, is a Brazilian football coach and a former professional player. Born on August 3, 1972, he played as a strong defender during his career. Today, he uses his experience to lead teams as a head coach, currently working with Patrocinense.

Max Sandro's Playing Career

Max Sandro started his football journey in 1993 with Americano. He quickly became known for his skills as a defender. Over the years, he played for many different clubs across Brazil.

Playing for Brazilian Clubs

Max Sandro played for several well-known Brazilian teams. These included Paysandu, Portuguesa, and Botafogo. He also played for Coritiba and Santo André. Moving between clubs is common in football, and Max Sandro gained a lot of experience this way.

Time in Japan

In 2002, Max Sandro had a unique experience playing football in Japan. He joined Consadole Sapporo. Although he only played a few matches there, it was an important part of his career. Playing in a different country helps players learn new styles of football.

Max Sandro's Coaching Career

After retiring as a player, Max Sandro decided to stay in football. He chose to become a coach, sharing his knowledge and passion for the game. His coaching career began with youth teams.

Starting with Youth Teams

Coaching Senior Teams

Max Sandro then moved on to coach senior professional teams. He managed Palmas in 2016 and Grêmio Osasco in 2017. He returned to Audax as a head coach in 2018 and again from 2020 to 2021.

In 2021, he took over as head coach for São Caetano. Since 2022, Max Sandro has been the head coach of Patrocinense. He continues to lead and guide players with his extensive experience from both playing and coaching.
