Mazatlán Futbol Club Femenil is a professional women's football team from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. They play in the top women's football league in Mexico, called Liga MX Femenil. The team started in June 2020. It was created when the Monarcas Morelia team moved to Mazatlán and changed its name.

History of Mazatlán Femenil
How the Team Started
On June 2, 2020, it was officially announced that the Monarcas Morelia football club was moving to Mazatlán. With this move, the club changed its name to Mazatlán Futbol Club. A few days later, on June 8, Mazatlán showed off its new team badge and colors. The team's main colors are purple, black, and white.
Building the Women's Team
When the entire club moved, it led to the creation of the Mazatlán women's team. Many of the staff and coaches from Monarcas Morelia also moved to the new team. An important step was when Jessica Castañeda was chosen as the team's director. She became one of the first women to hold a top management job in the Liga MX Femenil clubs.
Home Stadium
On July 19, 2020, it was announced that the women's team would share their home stadium with the men's team. Both teams play their games at the Estadio de Mazatlán.
