Metcalfe County is a county located in the state of Kentucky, United States. It was created in May 1860. The county is named after Thomas Metcalfe. He was the Governor of Kentucky from 1828 to 1832.
The main town and county seat of Metcalfe County is Edmonton. It is the only official city in the county. Metcalfe County is part of a larger area around Glasgow. This area is important for statistics and planning.
