Mettauertal is a town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Aargau, which is like a state or region. The town is part of the Laufenburg district.
Mettauertal is a fairly new town. It was formed on January 1, 2010. This happened when five smaller towns decided to join together. These towns were Hottwil, Etzgen, Mettau, Oberhofen, and Wil.
