The Mianus River is a beautiful river in the United States. It is about 20.3 miles (32.7 kilometers) long. The river flows through parts of Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County, Connecticut. It starts high up in the town of North Castle, New York, in a series of small ponds. This is near the town of Armonk, at about 600 feet (183 meters) above sea level.

The Mianus River first flows northeast into Bedford. Then, it suddenly turns south. It passes through a special nature area called the Mianus River Gorge.
