Rookie of the Year Season (2013–2014)
Many experts thought Carter-Williams would be a top player in the 2013 NBA draft. The Philadelphia 76ers picked him 11th overall. He signed with the 76ers on September 24, 2013.
In his very first NBA game on October 30, 2013, he had an amazing performance. He scored 22 points, had 12 assists, 7 rebounds, and 9 steals. The 9 steals were the most ever by a rookie in their first game! The 76ers won 114–110 against the defending champions, the Miami Heat.
