Michael Edward Reagan, born John Charles Flaugher on March 18, 1945, is an American political commentator and writer. He is known for his conservative views. Michael is the adopted son of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and his first wife, actress Jane Wyman. He writes columns for Newsmax.

Early Life and Education
Michael Edward Reagan was born in Los Angeles. His birth name was John Charles Flaugher. He was adopted by Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman when he was a baby.
Michael attended Judson School, a boarding school in Arizona. He graduated from there in 1964. He also went to Arizona State University and Los Angeles Valley College. However, he did not complete a degree at either school.

Michael Reagan has had many different jobs throughout his life. He has worked in sales, acted, hosted TV shows, and been a radio host.
Working in Sales
Before 1970, Michael worked as a salesman for a clothing company. Later, he became a director for a food service company in Los Angeles. In 1981, he worked as a salesman for a circuit board company.
Acting Roles
Since 1985, Michael Reagan has appeared in small roles. He was in movies and television shows. One of his roles was in Falcon Crest. His adoptive mother, Jane Wyman, also starred in that show.
Television Host
In 1987, Michael hosted the first season of a TV game show called Lingo.
Radio Host
Michael started his career in talk radio in Southern California. He was a guest host for a show on KABC radio in Los Angeles. After that, he got his own talk show on KSDO radio in San Diego.
He also hosted The Michael Reagan Show across the country. This show was on air for most of the 2000s. Since then, he has focused on public speaking about his father.
Author
Michael Reagan has written several books. In 1988, he wrote an autobiography with Joe Hyams. It was titled Michael Reagan: On the Outside Looking In.
In 2005, he wrote another book called Twice Adopted. This book shared his feelings about being adopted. It also discussed his parents' divorce and his journey to becoming a born-again Christian.
Personal Life
In June 1971, Michael Reagan married Pamela Gail Putnam. They divorced in 1972.
He married Colleen Sterns in 1975. Colleen is an interior decorator. They have two children together, Cameron and Ashley. Michael and Colleen live in the Toluca Lake area of Los Angeles.

In 2011, Michael had a disagreement with his adoptive brother, Ron Reagan. Ron is the biological son of Ronald Reagan and his second wife, Nancy Reagan. The disagreement was about Ron's book, which discussed their father's health.
