Middle Peak is a very tall mountain in the San Miguel Mountains range. This range is part of the larger Rocky Mountains in North America. The peak stands at about 13,306 feet (4,056 meters) high.
You can find Middle Peak in the Lizard Head Wilderness area of Colorado, United States. It's located about 27.6 kilometers (17.1 miles) west-southwest of the Town of Telluride. The mountain sits on a drainage divide. This means it's on the line that separates two different areas where water flows. On one side is San Juan National Forest and Dolores County. On the other side is Uncompahgre National Forest and San Miguel County.
