Milo Anthony Ventimiglia (born July 8, 1977) is an American actor. He first appeared on TV in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1995. He became well-known for his role as Jess Mariano in the popular show Gilmore Girls (2001–2007).
Later, Ventimiglia starred as Peter Petrelli in the superhero series Heroes (2006–2010). He also played Jack Pearson in the hit drama This Is Us (2016–2022). For this role, he was nominated three times for a top acting award, the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He also starred in the drama series The Company You Keep in 2023.
In movies, Ventimiglia played Rocky Balboa's son in Rocky Balboa (2006) and again in Creed II (2018). He has also appeared in films like That's My Boy (2012) and The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019).

Milo Anthony Ventimiglia was born on July 8, 1977, in Anaheim, California. He is the youngest of three children. His father was a Vietnam War veteran. Milo's family background includes Sicilian roots from his father's side, and English and Scottish roots from his mother's side.
Milo was born with a "crooked mouth." This is because the nerves on the left side of his mouth were damaged, making it unable to move. Interestingly, actor Sylvester Stallone, who Milo worked with in Rocky Balboa, has a similar facial feature.
Milo went to El Modena High School in Orange, California. There, he was active in wrestling and drama. He was also the student government president. After graduating in 1995, he studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater. He then went to the University of California, Los Angeles to study theater.

His big break came when he played Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls from 2001 to 2006. Jess was a popular character, a brooding teen who became a main part of the show. Milo returned for a few episodes in later seasons of Gilmore Girls. He also appeared in American Dreams and The Bedford Diaries.
