Minidoka is a small city located in Minidoka County, Idaho, in the United States. In 2020, about 86 people lived there. This number was a bit lower than the 112 people who lived there in 2010. Minidoka is part of the larger Burley area. Most people living in Minidoka are of Hispanic or Latino background.

Geography of Minidoka
Minidoka is in the eastern part of Minidoka County. It is about 13 miles (21 km) northeast of Rupert, which is the main town of the county. It is also about 50 miles (80 km) east-southeast of Shoshone. You can reach Minidoka by Idaho State Highway 24.
The city itself is quite small. It covers an area of about 0.11 square miles (0.28 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no water.
Minidoka's Climate
Minidoka has a cold semi-arid climate. This means it gets some rain, but not a lot, and it can have very hot summers and very cold winters.
The hottest temperature ever recorded in Minidoka was 108°F (42°C) on July 12, 2002. The coldest temperature ever recorded was a very chilly -41°F (-41°C) on January 22, 1962.
