MoonDreamers was an American cartoon TV show. It first aired in 1986. It was part of the My Little Pony 'n Friends block. My Little Pony showed for the first 15 minutes. Then, MoonDreamers, Potato Head Kids, or The Glo Friends would play. All these shows helped promote Hasbro toys. The series also aired on the CBN Family Channel and Family Channel later on.

What is MoonDreamers About?
The Moondreamers are special people who live in the sky. Their job is to create and send good dreams to kids on Earth. But there's a problem! An evil character named Queen Scowlene tries to stop them. She uses her nightmare crystals to keep everyone awake at night.
Meet the MoonDreamers Characters
- Crystal Starr (voiced by Tress MacNeille) - She is the main hero of the show. Crystal leads the Moondreamers. She also helps design the stars in the sky.
- Whimzee (voiced by B.J. Ward) - Whimzee is a Moondreamer who uses her amazing imagination. She creates dreams for "Dreamcasting," which means sending them out.
- Celeste - Her important job is to ride on Galaxia. She brings nighttime to Earth. This allows the dreams to be sent out to children.
- Galaxia - This is Celeste's magical space dragon. Galaxia has beautiful feather-like wings.
- Sparky Dreamer - Sparky is a very smart Moondreamer. He often has to fix mistakes made by the other Moondreamers.
- Dream Gazer (voiced by Jennifer Darling) - She is the oldest and wisest Moondreamer. Dream Gazer has a star tattoo over her left eye. She mixes all the special ingredients for dreams. This secret mix is called the "imagination combination."
- Bucky Buckaroo - Bucky is a Moondreamer who takes the dream crystals to the stars. He rides his favorite comet, Halley.
- Blinky and Bitsy (voiced by Robin Kaufman and Elizabeth Lyn Fraser) - These two are young Moondreamers in training. They are girls who want to help. Sometimes, they accidentally get in the way.
- Ursa Major (voiced by Tress MacNeille) - This is a flying polar bear. Ursa Major is Blinky's special companion.
- Roary (voiced by Neil Ross) - Roary is a flying lion. He is Bitsy's special companion.
- Frolic - Frolic is a Starfinder. He explores parts of the universe that no one has seen before. He travels with a peacock named Fluffin.
- Stardust - Stardust is another Starfinder. He looks for lonely planets that need stars. He is joined by a ram named Hornsby.
- Dawn - Dawn is a Sunfinder. She searches for the sun to start the morning. She is accompanied by a rabbit named Bunnyhop.
- Dusky - Dusky is a Sunfinder. He places the sun where it is supposed to set. He travels with a dog named Sunscout.
- Sundazzle - Sundazzle is a Sunsparkler. Her job is to polish the sun and make it shine.
- Fundreamer - Fundreamer is a Sunsparkler. He creates happy dreams for children.
- Daystar - Daystar is a Sunsparkler. He watches over every sunny day.
- Cloudpuff - Cloudpuff is a Sunsparkler. He creates the designs of the clouds in the sky.
- Ursa Minor - She is Ursa Major's niece. Ursa Minor is known for being a bit mischievous.
The Villains of MoonDreamers
- Queen Scowlene (voiced by Tress MacNeille) - She is the main bad guy of the show. Queen Scowlene lives in a place called Monstrous Middle. She is the mother of Scowlette. Queen Scowlene never sleeps and wants to take over Starry Up. Her goal is to keep everyone awake at night.
- Princess Scowlette - She is Queen Scowlene's daughter. Scowlette seems to be about the same age as Whimzee. She often tries to ruin the Moondreamers' plans to impress her mom. But her plans usually don't work out.
- Professor Grimace (voiced by Clive Revill) - He is a mad scientist who helps Queen Scowlene. Professor Grimace invents machines. However, his inventions often go wrong.
- Igon (voiced by Peter Cullen) - Igon is a three-legged, troll-like creature. He works as Professor Grimace's lab assistant.
- Sleep Creeps - These are Queen Scowlene's helpers. They try to stop people from sleeping.
- Shiner - Shiner is a Sleep Creep. He uses his flashlight to wake children up.
- Creaky - Creaky is a Sleep Creep. He fills the night with creaking and groaning noises.
- Squawker (voiced by Tress MacNeille) - Squawker is a Sleep Creep. She makes loud noises to keep people awake.
